Change is Good

2012 has been both equally good and bad to me i must say.

A broken heart, a dislocated shoulder, a major concussion, etc

but i was able to travel to a lot of places and met a lot of great people that inspired me to be
stay stronger than ever.

I had a great time revisiting San Francisco and see old buddies that now reside there, as much as they say that they are now used to the cold, i know they are in denial.

Lol.

The Triple S was a great experience altogether both in kiting and in the general boardsports culture.
I feel so at home with all these people around me! super fun to hang out with too!!!!
---

Greece for my second season there was also great!
I was able to explore paros more and felt like it is my homespot too that i actually cried that i had to leave.

Being back in Boracay after a very rough 2011 season due to a lot of things, now it's different.

I can say that i have learned so many things this year about me and what i really want to do.

I was able to find people that support me and my vision fully which makes me feel like am not crazy or something.LOL

First things first,

I'll do something that will bring me back to my visual roots.
After 7 years i was able to pick up a brush and paint again.
(although now am again to busy to do so)

Learn to say no.

that nurture your soul.

Made it alive

this is my first post in SF.
can i just say i love it here.
am so glad that am here. am with some good friends i havent seen in a while.

this city is amazing, i know am not a city "city" type of person, but Bay area is just one of those really pretty cities that you just have to live in once in your life.

yesterday i went to Crissy fields, one of the famous kite spots here.

and your backdrop is the amazing Golden gate bridge and upwind is Alcatraz.
how cool is that?
i also met Steve Gunn the local cabrinha distributor here.
Also met the local kite racers down at the spot since there was a race yesterday, and its a pretty well knit community.

today i made a really big mistake apparently, concern Facebook, uhhh i hate chatting with people when am in transit. i say stupid stuff.
but anyways, i try to mend it.
but its said and done.
i also do not regret what i said.
Truth is out!

PS: people that are bitter with their lives will never be happy for you nor be happy for any other being and their achievements for that matter.

PRIDE is overrated!

Always be happy for the soul that lives within you, and be happy for the souls that live around you.

What doesn't kill you makes you ?!

Had a really really stressful week.
days aways from my summer trip
and still have so many things to do.
And i also had to see my Manila FRiends
Yesterday i had three mini despidada parties around town starting
at happy hour with Ikee and Dane.

We ended up in David's Salon for my LAST hair treatment in the next 4 months.
uhhh what am i gonna do with my hair now when there is no David Salon to run too.
am kinda depressed about this.

NOTE TO SELF: it's not good to get tipsy and decide on your haircut. really really bad.

i ended up getting a full bang. which is cute but am just not used to it.
Alas, my hair is not "barbie" dollish anymore. Got it darkened, let's see how long this will last until the sea and sun turns it blonde again.

I had fun rediscovering Manila with the closest friends i have here.
Went to have dinner with my High School friends at Good Earth Roast Rockwell, which was one of our favorite hang outs from college.

Went to see the CURV crew at Basilio's
nice to see everyone was there

Last stop was filling station. it's always nice to hang out in this place. i love the ambiance and the 50s diner motif.

PS:
My dad passed away :(
love you Papa
