The Balance of Opposites

I bought myself a RVCA Alexa Romper as a "hardworking" gift since it's Labor Day Weekend.
lol

though i really wanted the Erin Wasson Romper which NEVER became available to the country, this piece still makes me very very very happy.

RVCA is one of my favorite brands around, not just because of the quality and design that this San Diego Based indie brand presents but their vision as a brand and their role in the society as they want it to be.

for every RVCA item i purchase i never fail to read the tag where the brand's vision is written, reminding us of what RVCA or life is truly about

when i visited RVCA HQ last december 2008, i was enlightened and happy that there are still brands out there who remain true to their word. WERD!!

The Balance of Opposites
RVCA is the brainchild of company founder and Creative Director, PM Tenore. His intention from the very beginning has been to create a platform for RVCA to combine art, music, fashion and the modern lifestyle in an original way.

For RVCA, it is about today, tomorrow and life as the big picture. It is about inspiring our generation, providing something of substance and culture and above all doing it with integrity and as a united family, a close knit community.

Speaking of a close knit community here is the Action Video of the Progression Kiteboarding III - In Memory of Kaya Karaca which was held in Gokova, Turkey.

A well attended community event about pushing your riding to the limits plus plus Robin Snuggs' Kite Clinic

I miss all my friends from Turkey, am trying to save up for my trip guys, cross your fingers
