Got My Hair Did

after the intense wind we had for the girls camp in pagudpud- me, susi and josefin really needed to go to the salon and quick!

good thing there's a David Salon in Naga where we're headed for the wind or no wind board jam

one of the girls from the camp Annett, AKA Barbie is gonna come join us too!!!

We also tagged along two dudes who are game for a little salon pampering

Ruben opted for a simple haircut

as for Aaron, its a different story.

I think he was still drunk when we went to the salon, as he was not in his right mind i think?!

though it didn't work as planned

i had a front row seat (with matching footspa, mani, pedi and hair treatment on the side) on what happened to his hair.

reminded me of my own bleaching experience

but after all the tears and sting of bleach mine turned out well. lol

so me and the girls decided to get matching streaks of purple/burgundy on our hair.

mine didnt turn out like annett and susi's coz my hair is naturally dark

but still really cute that i decided to get two more strips.

crazy last two weeks ever...

actually, not really

though it's considered "work" i go to hang out with the girls

kite a lot -crashed and burned and emerged stronger - still with my

weird game face on...

great to explore, travel

&

met a lot of new friends along the way

en route to Naga for the wind or no wind board jam with the dudes and chicks.

am putting in my newly OPENED melissa boots, nice to have the lights back as my other pair is already in the ICU, pleading to be killed already.

The wind is back and so is the crew

i've set aside blog posting for a while due to all the things happening right now

i flew in to Boracay 2 days before halloween which is BIG here in the island i tell ya it's serious business to be prepared for your costume and all. it's fun and hectic at the same time

And yes the wind was packed in my luggage - specifically in my DIY boardbag

as it was blowing 30-40knots the day we arrived and continued on

until today due to a low pressure area up north sucking up all the wind again :/

of course i cannot resist the wind and with the Susi Mai Kite Camp a few weeks from now and everyone else arriving back here and there Plus the Renovation of

HANGIN KITE CENTER - CABRINHA

am also up in the clouds as i found out that me and two of my home boys Ken and Doque will be representing filipino Kitesurfers in the upcoming Wind or No Wind Board Jam which is a Massive thing!!!!

Girl Encounter

So this is what the windless Susi Mai kite chick clinic looked liked.
It may look boring but we got to bond, just us girls from different kite school and i didn't even know some of them before. I actually thought there were not a lot of girls kiting in Boracay but i was dead wrong!
I met a lot of really cool girls from Estonia, Finland, Netherlands,etc!

Endless stories of embarrassing kite moments, most stupid things you forget to do (and the boys just look at you giggling and you don't understand why, until after 10 minutes) - like seriously perspiring to death to pump your 8m which usually takes a couple of minutes, puzzled and pissed on what is wrong, you realize your deflate valve is open. ahhh!
very inspiring words from Susi and the other girls too, on progression, learning, techniques, and many more



it maybe 14-16m wind (which most of the girls here don't have) but still, full house baby!!
