WONW 2011 wraps up

its been a fun and challenging 10days for me here in CWC both in the Jam and in my life in general.
----

First of all battling a recurring shoulder injury which actually made me more focused on my riding and made me more careful.
and yes people the shoulder is stronger than ever and am really happy about that.


its also nice to know that even if you and your friends see each other once to twice a year theyre still the funny bunch of mofos that youve always known and they always got your back no matter what. and because of that am planning up my whole year ahead already to see these people, i think it would be much more worth it than what i did this last year.

its much more worth it than spending a lot of time with a group of people who doesnt even care about your feelings, support your ambition, or just simply include you in plans and conversations.


i am also glad i got A LOT of shots from the winch park and some gopro stuff but most of them have watermarks as usual.



but anyways here are some excerpts from the event.

Go Big and Never Go Home..

Really depressing when everyone in the crew is going big on the rails and your stuck in a sling.

Thank God Sam was behind me on the cable and the rest of the crew was also riding.

Thank You guys for taking care of me. sam for kta taping me, K for the celebrex, tynna for the rad sling and everyone else for the moral support. lol

Watched Xmen last night and ate some sour cream popcorn, missing my wasabi flavored one from Chimara.

we went to biggs' after, missed this place so much, the 1960s ambiance is sooo dank!

Spitting my Heart Out.

Spitting my heart out on the cable for the last two days.

not a good idea.

Caused me a sprain yesterday. Neck pain from a face plant

and today

a fucked up tailbone

and a bleeding nose + gums.

For a moment there i thought i lost some teeth.

I'll have to take it easy tomorrow and will probably spending the day shooting for everyone else.

again...hmmm

I'd trade some pink butterfly laces for some butterfly kisses right now. :(

The rest of the crew will arrive on the weekend so i should take it slow for now.

When Old Isshies Hunt You Down

When old issues hunt you down...it sucks!

Went a little too big on the wallride today and caught a front edge causing me a little ankle sprain from a past injury in Lago De Oro 8 months ago which you can read here.

SUCKS.

Took the bus in last night with Sam and MonMon. so lucky that my seatmate didn't make it i had two lazy boy seats for myself. hihi.Though the road going here was unforgiving and i got thrown out of my sleep a couple of times.

The evil eye is a symbol which is known to ward of anything bad along the way. believed by many Mediterranean tribes and cultures, It started in Classical Greece and later passed to ancient Rome. It is a symbol of protection to those who wear, protection from those who try to harm you and ill-wishers by envious entities around you when you are on your way to a happy path.

Am hitting the road tomorrow with the Sam B& MonMon D for some "shaping up" i need to do in the cable plus of course shooting!

back home to Naga

CWC has always been a home to me too.

so heading there just for a few days with friends for some fun surely makes me happy

Nice to see everyone again

this time there was nothing going on, no event just chilling and riding with Tynna and the rest of the crew

We almost got the park for ourselves so we were able to film a lot.

were coming out with a sick vid anytime soon.

*Epic Event*

Great crew!

flew early in the mownin' of the 3rd to CWC hoping to get some sleep after that hectic schedule up in Pagudpud for the All Chicks came.

Who am i kidding?!

i ended riding (as usual), drinking some beers and partying til the next day.

CWC never changed.

It's fun to be a participant again in an event instead of organizing it.

:)

At Day 2 - I was already covered with Salonpas and icing my ankle + knee

talk about taking it easy on the cable...

At Day 4 my hair was a sticky mess; good thing i got my hair weapon from laura before i left boracay

At Day 9 - my back/knees and ankles are killing me already but i cannot leave this place without having a nice last sesh. i wont be back in the cable for awhile.
